Wöhner Appointed CEO of Trevira

On February 18th 2008, Uwe Wöhner will take his position of chief executive officer at Trevira GmbH.
Trevira GmbH, a company of Reliance group, India is a European manufacturer of polyester fibers and filament yarns. Production operations are located in Germany, Denmark, Belgium and Poland. The head office of the company is located in Bobingen, near Augsburg.
Wöhner comes to Trevira with an extensive background in automotive supplies, having worked for such companies as Ymos AG in Offenbach and Lemmerz KG in Königswinter.
"I am looking forward to my new task. I feel confident that Trevira will continue to maintain its momentum of growth through expansion in the world markets. Further, we will work towards further exploiting the synergy emerging from the strength of our owner reliance and the competence of Trevira to continue to be a leading innovative European specialty fiber producer," Wöhner said.
