Williams is Waverly''s New President

New York - F. Schumacher & Co. has announced the appointment of Dale Williams as president of the Waverly Lifestyle Group. Williams will report directly to Gerald Puschel, president and CEO of F. Schumacher & Co. and will head all aspects of the Waverly Lifestyle Group including creative development, finance, sales, marketing and licensing.
"We are all excited that Dale will be leading the Waverly brand," Puschel said. "As a visionary leader with international experience, he brings a proven record of accomplishment in brand building and executing strategies. We are confident that he will continue growing the vision for Waverly."
In his most recent position, Williams was senior vice president, global sourcing and international marketing at Springs Industries where he implemented a global sourcing strategy and managed international sales and marketing efforts. Prior to joining Springs Industries, Williams was president and CEO for HomePortfolio Inc., an Internet destination for home design products.
Previously, Williams worked for WestPoint Stevens Inc. He was responsible for the development and execution of brand strategy, product development, creative, marketing, retail channels and export among other things.
Williams replaces Christiane Michaels who resigned from F. Schumacher in late 2001 to become president of the White Barn Candle Company.F&FI
