Textiles Designer Gives Hotel Facelift
February 25, 2008
GENEVA, Switzerland -- The historical Le Richemond Geneva has just re-opened after being completely re-designed by textiles designer John Stefanidis.
The hotel now features many fabric designs of John Stefanidis in its suites and public areas. The fabrics are used for drapery, bedspreads and upholstery throughout the hotel and meet Switzerland's strict fire retardant standards.
Though John Stefanidis has designed hotel suites in the past, we wanted to give him the opportunity to style an entire hotel,'' said Olga Polizzi, director of design of the Rocco Forte Collection. ''The result is quite stunning and very different from any of our properties but in keeping with our philosophy it reflects its location. John Stefanidis understands that comfort and elegance are paramount in our hotels and his great sense of style is perfect for Le Richemond.''
