Silver State Launches Jazz-Inspired Fabric Line IMPROV
January 12, 2010
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Silver State has launched a new spring line for the Alaxi fabrics collection, IMPROV, offering superior performance in Sunbrella acrylic with a patterned touch of whimsy and grace.
Designed by Kate Korten, the IMPROV collection is inspired by modern art, nature and jazz improvisation, marked by fluid geometric patterns that are playful yet melodic.
''In the world we live, loud is passe,'' said Manoli Sargetakis, a principal of Silver State Inc. ''But people still want to make more of a statement than just play it safe. The colors of this collection are strong and vibrant and the patterns, even in the neutral tones, are bold without being brash. With our latest collection IMPROV, we give the client the ability to make a statement of confidence.''
The new collection features 60 SKUs and 10 vibrant patterns each echoing and complementing previously released solids from other lines. ''At Silver State Inc. and specifically with this new Alxi collection, we are confident in the need for color and vibrancy and feel strongly that the time to play it conservative is giving way to boldness at the top of the design world,'' explained Sargetakis.
