Hangzhou, China—Raymond Shu is excited about SIC’s new warehouse and showroom in Hangzhou.
 

He’s General Manager and partner in SIC, the upholstery fabric distributor based in Łódź, Poland growing at 10% a year according to Robert Schweikert, Shu’s partner. Shu is responsible for sales worldwide for SIC, the global specialist in Chinese made upholstery that is aiming to be the largest in the world in this category.
 

“We’re capturing the market in $3-$5 per meter upholstery,” Shu says. “We source from over 20 China based mills and offer cut order service for a 10-15% up-charge,” says Shu.
