Schumacher Introduces Celerie Kemble Collection
November 26, 2008
NEW YORK, New York – F. Schumacher & Co. has introduced its anticipated Fall 2008 collection of woven and printed fabrics designed by well-known Florida and New York designer and socialite, Celerie Kemble.
According to Kemble, the collection is "uniquely suited to a wide mix of modern tastes and styles – vintage, contemporary and tradition – that very much reflects my approach to interior design. This is the kind of design that my own clientele is increasingly looking for and that I wanted to bring to my first collection for Schumacher."
Schumacher brand president and general manager, Corinne Kevorkian, said, "We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Celerie. Her bold yet refined approach reflects styling that manages to be both timeless and very much of the moment – just the balance that we see as vital in today's evolving market."
The new Schumacher collections will be featured in Kemble's new book, To Your Taste: Creating Modern Rooms with a Traditional Twist, to be published this month.
