January 7, 2010
NEW YORK, New York - Sherri Mojica has been named director of design for Rbed, the five-year-old contract bedding brand of Richloom Fabrics Group.
Mojica has been in the hospitality and retail home textiles business for 22 years, most recently at a hospitality bedding specialist.
This is the first full-time design director Rbed has ever had and represents the growing needs of the division according to John Ringer, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, who is getting more involved in the contract business at Richloom.
Ringer said that contract sales represent 25 percent of the total sales at Richloom and continues to grow.
''Rbed is becoming a colorful bedding concept which is not limited to the white bed concept,'' said Mojica. ''This is a new direction for Rbed.''
Products include bedding, duvets, pillow shams, bed-skirts, bed-scarves and decorative pillows. The bedding designs also coordinate with Richloom contract fabrics.
