Proserpio Leaves Prosetex, Joins Rossini Della Quercia
July 12, 2006
COSTAMASNAGA, Italy — Corrado Proserpio has joined Rossini Della Quercia as a sales and marketing executive.
Rossini is a producer of traditional flat woven jacquards for upholstery, bedspreads and draperies.
Proserpio was working at Rossini Della Quercia's stand during Proposte in May, meeting with customers and discussing the line. No formal announcements have been made about his departure from Prosetex or his joining Rossini.
He was previously involved with his family owned mill, Prosetex, based in Brianza, but apparently had some type of disagreement with family members which led to the split.
In his new capacity, it is expected that Proserpio will have a major impact on Rossini's design effort. He was very instrumental in a similar way at Prosetex where he established an open line of more highly styled upholstery than the mill was previously noted for. Through his efforts, Prosetex began to show its lines at major trade fairs for the first time about three years ago.
Proserpio has not been forthcoming about his other plans for Rossini.
