Morton Takes CEO Spot at Belding

Lincolnton, NC (USA) - Nancy Zarin has resigned from her post as president and CEO Belding Hausman Incorporated. She held the position for eight years. Bill Morton, who has served on the company''s board since its acquisition from Belding Heminway in 1996, has been appointed the new president and CEO by the company''s board of directors.
Morton has more than 40 years of textile industry management experience, according to a company press release. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Mission Valley Textiles, Inc., a yarn-dyed textile manufacturer based in New Braunfels, Texas.
"It has been a pleasure to be a shareholder and director of Belding over the last five years," Morton said. "I have a great deal of respect for the employees and management of the company. I look forward to building on the fine legacy set by Nancy Zarin."
