Malek Named Show Manager of New York Home Textiles Show®

WHITE PLAINS, New York -- George Little Management has appointed Rita Malek as show manager of the New York Home Textiles Show® and sales manager of Global Home Textiles™. Malek will report to Penny Sikalis, vice president and group show manager.
''Rita's tradeshow management experience has served GLM well for the past 12 years, most recently contibuting to the notable success of SURTEX® which she managed for three years,'' Sikalis said. ''As show manager for both the New York Home Textiles Show and EX•TRACTS®, GLM is confident in Rita's ability to lead these events to success in both the luxury home textiles and personal care arenas.''
Malek joined GLM in 1994.
For the New York Home Textiles Show, she will have overall management responsibility for the semi-annual event. As sales manager of Global Home Textiles, she will have specific sales responsibilites for the annual sourcing trade show.
Malek will also continue to serve as show manager of EX•TRACTS®.
