January 5, 2007
NEW YORK, New York – Luxury linen company Matouk and Lulu DK Fabrics will unveil their first collaborative effort at this month's New York International Gift Fair, by GLM shows.
Matouk entered into a bedding licensing agreement with Lulu de Kwiatkowski, founder and chief designer of Lulu DK Fabrics, late last year.
Their debut LuluDK/Matouk collection will be designed by Kwiatkowski and manufactured and distributed by Matouk and its retailors.
"It has been a pleasure working with Lulu, who shares the same philosophy as Matouk: striving to design and produce a product that is aesthetically exquisite and impeccably made. We could not have asked for a better partner in this collaboration," said George Matouk Jr., president.
De Kwiatkowski's work is known for signature geometric and nature-inspired designs. Her fabrics can be found in a number of high-end hospitality properties, including W, The St. Regis and Four Seasons Hotels. She also produces a line of baby linens and has a furniture collection with Elite Leather.
