In April of this year, Larry Traxler moved from his position at Hyatt Hotels to become the Senior Vice President of Global Design Services at Hilton Hotels.
In his current position, Traxler oversees the Hilton design team managers and directs the design review process that occurs at existing and leased hotels. He will also be responsible for delivering new hotels into the Hilton system.
At Hyatt, Traxler was the Vice President of Architecture & Design from 2005 until this year. In that post, he had worked to define brand standards, oversee capital expenditures and manage pre-opening turnover processes, among other responsibilities.
Before moving to Hyatt, Traxler had already put 14 years of experience in high-end hospitality under his belt, working as a Design Manager for Ian Schrager Hotels, Design Director at HBA in Singapore and a Principal at Jordan Mozer & Associates.
