February 15, 2005
MARIETTA, Georgia — Leslie Temples, a 25-year veteran in the hospitality design industry, has announced the launch of her firm, L. Temples & Company.
The Georgia-based company focuses on business development services and it is designed to strengthen and expand sales, industry trade show and marketing initiatives and presence for small and mid-sized manufacturers in the several aspects of hospitality industry, including hotels, health clubs, casinos, restaurants, country clubs and assisted living centers.
"I believe there is a real need for someone with a strong sales background and track record to guide and support small and mid-sized manufacturers in this segment. Someone who will help them grow their business while they pay attention to the manufacturing of their products. I've made the connections they need and have the experience to guide them to the next level," she said.
L. Temples & Company will be responsible for hiring, training and guiding a sales force in addition to manufacturer representation at trade shows and industry events. Additional services include will also handling direct marketing initiatives, collateral development direction and creative input for advertising campaigns and media buying.
Temples has most recently worked with Shaw on their Design Origins launch. "I have been thought of a carpet maven," she said, "but for many years I was a multi-line rep out on the street selling and responding to market needs for everything from case goods to textiles."
