The collections, which will be exclusively available through a network of Kravet corporate showrooms, begins with a four-book set of upholstery fabrics which reflect the natural environment that inspired each collection. These fabrics showcase the clean, pure form that is distinctly Calvin Klein Home, now reinterpreted for interiors.
Alongside this four-book color set, Calvin Klein Home for Kravet Collections will also introduce complementary window and multi-purpose books, Luminous and Elements. In these collections, the yarns are rich, the textures are opulent and the minimalism of Calvin Klein brand is evident everywhere, Kravet said.
Drawing from textures and colors from around the world, this collection embodies a commitment to high quality materials, innovative techniques, and unique details that are synonymous with the Calvin Klein Home brand. Bringing together the Calvin Klein Home aesthetic with Kravet's history in fabrics has produced a tactile offering that complements the elegant lifestyle which defines both brands.
Kravet at 91 years of age, the biggest volume wholesaler of fabrics in the world today, offers the widest range of fabrics in the decorative fabrics industry. Recent acquisitions of several other textile companies have further enhanced the Kravet Inc. brand offerings to the trade. The company continues to focus its efforts on introductions of designer inspired collections, fabric, furniture, trimmings, as well as new categories of carpet, lighting, and decorative hardware.
