Knight Returns to Westgate

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — Westgate Interiors has rehired Mark Knight as the executive vice president of merchandising and design. Knight will be responsible for all merchandising and design for the Westgate and Payne product lines.
He was vice president of design for IMAX Worldwide Imports in his previous post. He joined IMAX after he left Westgate and Payne Fabrics in a similar position. Knight lives in Dallas, Texas and will work in the Grand Prairie, Texas offices. He reports to Jack Cobb, fabric group president Home Furnishings International, the parent company to Westgate and ADF Fabrics and to David Li who is principal of both firms.
Previously, it was announced by Sipco.net that Jay Cassen, president of Westgate, had left the company prior to Knight rejoining the company. Cassen said that he intends to pursue other interests.
Westgate Fabrics, now Westgate Interiors, was recently acquired by American Decorative Fabrics, an importer of Chinese made fabrics.
