Industrial Strength Dual Action Teflon Fabric Protector Uses New Technology

WILMINGTON, Delaware – INVISTA, the licensed marketer of Teflon® fabric protector in textile markets, has introduced DuPont's™ "Industrial Strength Dual Action Teflon®'' fabric protector.
The product is designed for career apparel, contract fabric, uniform rental, work-wear and commercial bedding. The finish implements repellency and release technology to withstand industrial laundering that can be done at temperatures as much as 20 degrees cooler than typical wash temperatures.
Industrial Strength Dual Action Teflon® shows water and oil repellency results up to and exceeding 50 industrial cycles which include high wash temperatures, strong detergents and large loads. The company is currently testing the finish in real-life wear trials and the patents for it are pending.
