BANGALORE, INDIA—Wishwanath ‘Vish’ Subbarao passed away December 7 due to cardiac complications from a fall at home three weeks before.
“Although he was due home that same day, he never left the hospital,” says his son Siddharth.

Mr. Vish was born January 15, 1953, and would have been 72 in 2025.

‘Mr. Vish’ (as his friends called him) represented Fabrics & Furnishings International for more than 27 years based in Bangalore, India. He studied at Mysore University and is survived by his wife, Surekha, and his two children, a daughter, Arundathi, and a son, Siddharth.

“He was both an excellent journalist for the publication and a veteran advertising sales professional well regarded by his customers,” says Eric Schneider F&FI publisher. I will always remember his keen wit and his passion for things he believed in. I enjoyed traveling with him on many occasions, especially to Rajasthan. Once, he made me a gift of Chico, a delicious Indian fruit.”
