Gordon Boggis Named Carnegie CEO

ROCKVILLE CENTER, NY—Gordon Boggis is the new CEO of Carnegie Fabrics. He is a turnaround specialist with a background in the food industry. He reports to Ethan Thurow, Director.
James Kaplan was the previous president of Carnegie Fabrics when he joined the company in the fall of 2018. He left this January.
Under Kaplan, Carnegie upholstery was set up as a separate division under Mary Holt, President.
Also, Heather Bush, Xorel® design director was named chief creative officer of Carnegie responsible for the design, product development, and marketing.
Kaplan also created a new division called ‘Carnegie Space’ that sells “easily installed” furniture and finished goods beginning in January 2020.
Dana Pucillo was named sales and operations director of Space.
In January 2017, a majority interest in Carnegie was sold to Calera Capital, a Boston-based financial firm. At that time, Cliff Goldman stepped aside as Carnegie President to become Executive Chair
