Former Culp Chenille Manufacturer Expands Chambers' Capabilities

HIGH POINT, North Carolina – Chambers Fabrics, founded in 1989 as a converter, has acquired all the assets of Stantex.
Stantex was formerly a chenille manufacturer for Culp Inc., also located in High Point, but will now be integrated into the Chambers company.
Chambers is one of the last domestic mill supplies to the upholstered furniture industry. The company began manufacturing in 1996 and now has 114 employees and a 150,000-square-foot plant that makes promotional to mid-priced upholstery fabrics.
