F. Schumacher & Co. Names Kate Premo Director of Marketing Communications

NEW YORK, New York -- Kate Premo, a marketing and public relations veteran has joined F.Schumacher & Co.
The annoucnment was made by Miles Glidden, president, interior design group, F. Schumacher & Co.
"I am pleased to announce that Kate Premo is joining the Interior Design Group of F. Schumacher & Co. as Director of Marketing Communications, effective May 15, reporting to me," said Glidden.
"In this role which focuses on the Schumacher, Greeff and Decorators Walk brands, she will be responsible for our advertising, public relations, special events, promotional material and other marketing activities. She will also assist our floorcovering division, Patterson, Flynn, and Martin, in key marketing areas," he said.
Premo spent seven years as VP, corporate communications and marketing for Niermann Weeks. She has also created public relations programs for the Foundation for Design Integrity, in addition to PR positions with William B. Johns and Partners, and several government agencies in Washington, DC.
Premo received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, her Masters from Columbia University in Strategic Communications, and an Interior Design certificate from Parsons.
