June 26, 2006
ANTWERP, Belgium -- Billy DeSousa has confirmed that he has left his position as sales manager for Bru Textiles.
''I have resigned from Bru Textiles effective this past May. I have since returned to the US and am reviewing my options in terms of my next career move,'' he said.
Before working at Bru, DeSousa was the international sales operations manager of Quaker Fabrics Corp., a position he held for seven years. There he was instrumental in opening new markets for Quaker in China and the Pacific Rim.
Bru is a widely regarded converter of upholstery and decorative fabrics in Kontich, Belgium and is a regular exhibitor at Decosit, known for a wide variety of fabrics with deep color lines.
