Culp Names New Chief Financial Officer

HIGH POINT, North Carolina – Culp, Inc., marketers of mattress fabrics for bedding and upholstery fabrics for furniture, has announced that Kenneth R. Bowling, will become the chief financial officer as of May 1, 2007.
Bowling joined Culp, Inc. in 1997 and has served as the company's vice president, finance and treasurer since 2004. With an MBA from Wake Forest University, Bowling was controller for a division of Hamilton Beach/Proctor Silex before joining Culp, Inc.
In his new position, Bowling will report directly to Frank Saxon, who was recently named CEO of Culp, Inc. – a position which will also take effect May 1, 2007.
