Bruno Launches Heirloom

WESTPORT, CT—Tom Bruno has started up Heirloom Decorative Fabrics LLC here with a warehouse in High Point, N.C.

Bruno spent his last six years at Roth Fabrics in Norwalk, CT, an importer of Indian-made piece goods. Prior to that he was vice president, sales for Spectrum Fabrics which was acquired by Covington Industries. He also worked for Covington prior to joining Roth.

Bruno has spent his entire career in the fabric business. He joined Waverly Fabrics as his first job out of college before he joined Spectrum.

Heirloom Decorative Fabrics debuted its first line of four collections at the most recent High Point Showtime in June.

"One of the unique characteristics of all my collections is that each pattern is on a different construction," Bruno said. "By mixing and matching designs and constructions the collections have a true designer look." The designs sell for between $8.95 and $9.95, he said.
