Brimar® Buys Trim Lines, Chinese Hardware Plant

HIGH POINT, North Carolina - Brimar has purchased several trimming lines in the past 30 days to beef up its offerings to retailers, furniture manufacturers and designers, said Marc Thiergart, vice president, interviewed at Showtime USA here.
All of the products will be brought under Brimar's 'decofuse' product label, he said.
"We will introduce ten trim lines and four hardware lines in 2009,'' said Thiergart, a second generation family member of Brimar, a 25-year-old trimming distributor of trimming and drapery hardware with offices in Lake Forest, Ill.
In the past few weeks, Brimar purchased Tasseltime, a trimmings distributor in Deerfield Beach, Fla. that was previously owned by Castellano-Beltrame USA. In addition, Brimar bought the trim lines of the Zimmerman Company in Columbia, S.C.
Lastly, Brimar bought out its Chinese partner and will now be the sole owner of a hardware factory in Zhuthai, China which produces for American Drapery Hardware LLC dba ADDH LLC.
