Bomar Names Boyle President

LAKE WORTH, Florida — Kyle Boyle has been named president of Bomar Trimming as of April 11 replacing Alan Block who had this job for 14 months.

F&FI has learned that Block has resigned in order to pursue other opportunities. Prior to Block, Nimi Natan had been president for four years.

Bomar is owned by an investment group known as Patriarch based in New York City.

Bomar also recently concluded the purchase of Nantucket Trimming from its owner Curt Gunsules who will continue as a director of this new Bomar division. Most of the Nantucket sales representatives will continue to market this line under Gunsules.

Barry Simon, a newly named sales representative for the Bomar Trimming line in the Northeast was previously with American Decorative Fabrics in New York as a senior manager. Prior to that post, he was with Crestmont Fabrics for nine years.

Simon is also representing Qual Fab, the Hialeah, Florida based printer of home furnishings and hospitality fabrics.

Jay Perdomo, vice president of sales, and 13-year Bomar employee, confirmed all of the appointments.

Bomar also owns a manufacturing plant in Juarez, Mexico just over the American border from El Paso, Texas.
