Bill Peters Leaves Stroheim & Romann
June 2, 2009
NEW YORK, New York – Fabrics & Furnishings has learned that Bill Peters, former president of Stroheim & Romann, has left the company.
According to Lee Petraglia, vice president of operations at Stroheim & Romann, Peters resigned from his position. Petraglia would not make any further comment about the announcement, but did confirm that as of Mon. June 1, Peters is no longer employed by Stroheim & Romann.
Prior to joining Stroheim, Peters had worked for Osborne & Little in the company's New York office. When he was appointed in late 2007 as president, he had reported to Chris Jacob Schminnes who had been serving as the interim president. When Fabrics & Furnishings spoke with Schminnes early last year, he had said that Peters could "influence the brand from A to Z."
Referring to Peters' former post at Osborne & Little, Schminnes said, "It's a much bigger and challenging job for him."
