Barclay Butera Honors Benjamin Moore Paints with Collaboration
August 21, 2009
MONTVALE, New Jersey - Kravet fabrics and Benjamin Moore Paints have announced that their three-year-old color collaboration has just evolved even further.
Prominent designer Barclay Butera, who recently released an exclusive line of rugs and fabric with Kravet, has just selected 40 paints by Benjamin Moore to suit his new creations.
Benjamin Moore is "indisputably the gold standard of paint," said Butera, who has designed for 15 years and strikes the difficult balance between glamor and livability.
There are four color groups inspired by luxurious locales (Beach, City, Mountain and Town & Country) which reflect Butera's debut line at Kravet. For Beach, there are bright whites, sandy neutrals and varying shades of blue like Tidal Wave and Harbor Fog. City is defined by a definitive sexiness with animal skin patterns and contrasts in dark/light which aid in creating a sense of space. Mountain embraces the natural grains of wood and leather while Town & Country couples pale greens and blues with accents of silver and gold.
Benjamin Moore & Co just celebrated its 125th anniversary this past year and continues to push the boundaries of ecological savvy with its portfolio of Green Promise products , which includes Aura, Natura and EcoSpec.
