Artee Names Katz MD

HUDSON, Massachusetts — Bob Katz has been named managing director of Artee Collections, here.
This is a new position for the company, a ten-year-old designer, converter and producer of handloom and powerloom silks and blends in China and India. Artee has offices and staffs in both countries. In his new post, Katz will be responsible for marketing and operations. He reports to Arti Bhandari, founder and owner.
Katz said that Artee develops proprietary programs with major jobbers, stocking retailers and manufacturers.
Katz was previously a consultant for two years. At various times in his 20-year career he was also involved in domestic sales with Barrow Industries, international sales for Robert Allen and more recently, with Duralee Fabrics in both international and domestic sales management.
