Allen Heads Victor Design

NEW YORK, New York — Linda Allen has been named design director of Victor Innovatex Inc., a Canadian mill.
Allen is now based in the New York design studio of Victor and reports to Martin Bourque, director of research and development.
Allen worked for Victor for the past year as an independent design consultant before joining the company fulltime. Prior to her association with Victor, Allen was director of contract wovens for P/Kaufmann, Inc., the New York based converter where she developed in-line hospitality collections and managed all custom products.
Victor is a privately held producer of jacquard panel and contract seating fabrics located in St. Georges, Canada. The company was founded in 1947 by the Duval Family and began to serve the contract furniture industry in 1980, a company spokesman said.
