LAS VEGAS, Nevada – idX Corporation, a leading provider of fixture manufacturing, logistics and project management for retail, hospitality and financial markets, has announced its newest development, "ShopRobotic by idX."
ShopRobotic will debut at HDExpo in Las Vegas in May. As a "robotic store," ShopRobotic allows hotel owners or whoever is using it, to display merchandise which can then be purchased without the assistance of any additional personnel.
Customers browse for what they want through a glass-fronted kiosk and then simply insert their cash or credit card which dispenses the product. The unit dimensions of ShopRobotic can be designed based on the hotel's requirement to accommodate either large-scale properties, or smaller, boutique hotels. The secure kiosk offers hotels the ability to offer a wide range of products from batteries to iPod chargers to digital cameras – all of which can be purchased at any hour.
