NEW YORK, NY - Wearbest Sil-Tex Mills has named Melissa Battah Director of Contract. 

In her new position Battah will be responsible for the design direction of the company's contract private label lines as well as its Bella-Dura brand of high-performance fabrics for the contract division.

Battah has been with Wearbest for ten years and was first a stylist and then a senior contract designer prior to the promotion. She reports to Irwin Gasner, owner of the mill.

Wearbest is a fourth-generation, family-owned textile company founded about 70 years ago.
