INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana — Vision Fabrics has hired fabric industry veteran Tom Carter as National Market Manager. Carter will oversee the newly launched fabric converter Vision Fabrics sales force.   

Most recently president of Westgate Home Furnishings for five years, Carter had also server as the senior partner with the sales agency representing Joan Fabrics Corp for six years prior. He has 25 years of experience in the textile and upholstered furniture industries.

The strategic hire is expected to build out the business for Vision Fabrics in the residential furniture and manufacturer retail fabric store sector. To this end, he is actively recruiting a national sales force to support both the residential and manufacturer sides.
