Travers Sale Rumored

NEW YORK, New York — Rumors about the sale of Travers & Company continue to circulate in the market.
Travers principal Eldo Netto admited there have been several talks with interested parties in the past 18 months but "nothing concrete has materialized," he said.
Travers is a high-end residential fabric wholesaler to top-end architects and designers which sells for $100 a yard and above. It is based at the D&D Building at 979 Third Avenue.
Prior to his involvement with Travers, Netto was also the principal of Cowtan & Tout for 10 years before he sold it to Colfax & Fowler in 1988.
