Trade Link Introduces Readymades Exhibition: Prêt Pour La Maison

November 15, 2002

BRUSSELS – The Trade Link Company, purveyor of three exhibitions in the international interior textile exhibitions, announced during Decosit that it will launch an exhibition for readymade products. Prêt Pour La Maison (5-8 September 2003) will feature curtains, cushions, rugs, tablecloths, blankets, bedspreads, throws, towels and bath mats. Trade Link Company managing director Bill Davis said Prêt Pour La Maison is a response to the growing demand for readymade products in the interior textile market. "The exhibition undoubtedly reflects the changing demands of the textile market," Davis said. "People are choosing to update their home interiors more frequently with each new season's colors and styles. Readymade products are hugely appealing for this purpose, as they enable greater ease and expedience in decorating." It will be held simultaneously with Trade Link's TIP exhibition at the Kart Expo in Brussels. Trade Link also organizes Scoperta in Switzerland and Living Space in South Africa. In other news, Trade Link Company appointed Nick Bond as sales manager, European exhibitions in July 2002. He is responsible for the Scoperta, TIP and Pret Pour La Maison exhibitions. Bond, who has worked in 20 countries, has about 20 years of experience in the exhibitions industry. Previously, he worked at Reed Exhibitions for 12 years, most recently as show director.
