The Trade Link Company Announces Three New Tradeshows

HERTFORDSHIRE, United Kingdom — The Trade Link Company, organizers of Scoperta in Switzerland and tip in Belgium, have added three new, and presently unnamed, tradeshows. The shows will take place in Shanghai, China, Bangalore, India and Ascot in the UK in 2006.
The first of the new shows will take place in Bangalore, in spring 2006. The show will feature international companies specializing in textile, surface design and apparel exhibiting to the Indian manufacturing market.
According to the Trade Link Company, the show in Shanghai, which will take place in autumn 2006, will resemble the format of the Bangalore show.
"We are very excited to be launching two new shows in Asia and the Far East. We believe that there is huge potential in China and India for manufacturing quality-driven textiles and surface design products. This is an opportunity for companies to profile and sell their designs to new markets," said Andy Green, managing director of the Trade Link Company.
"For many, India and China are unknowns in terms of both business and culture. We will therefore be providing information and seminars to support the exhibitors so they understand the markets they will be selling to. And vice versa, we will also provide support to the Indian and Chinese manufacturing companies so they understand the international textile design culture," he said.
The Trade Link Company's third debut show will take place at Ascot, which is located just outside London, early next summer 2006. The exhibition will showcase high-end fabrics and wallcoverings from Europe. According to the company, the UK show will provide an exclusive platform for luxury textiles and potential exhibitors will have to pass exacting criteria to be able to exhibit at the show.
