The Carrs Buy RM Coco Assets

ST. LOUIS, MO--The Carr Textile Group, an apparel fabrics distributor in Fenton, Missouri has acquired the assets of RM COCO and Custom Creations for an undisclosed purchase price on or about November 19.
The new entity is known as RM COCO Décor, Ltd.
The Carr Textile Group is a Fenton, Mo. based diversified, wholesale apparel fabrics distributor, headed up by two brothers, Michael and Steve Carr. Carr specializes in providing its customers with low minimums on a large inventory of apparel fabrics. It owns a 420,000 square foot warehouse in Sikeston, a suburb of St. Louis with the capabilities of re-rolling, biasing, slitting, die cutting, sewing, and plastic extrusion. In addition to Sikeston, MO, Carr stocks more than three million yards of fabric in more than 12 warehouse shipping points in the United States and abroad.
Carr is an Importer, converter, distributor and wholesaler of cotton, polyester, and blended fabrics. It is also a manufacturer and supplier of cap components to the headwear industry.
The Carr Textile Group has been a part of the textile industry since 1973 and since it was started by Don and Ruth Carr, first generation owners.
In addition to its stock programs, Carr says it can offer special dye lots to meet customer specifications for color, hand, or finish. “Our finish capabilities include: sanding, brushing, napping, sanforizing, DWR (durable water repellent), CRF (crease resistant finish), soil out, calendaring, washing, tumbling, silicone, etc. Our dyeing capabilities include Range Dyeing for large dye lots with fiber reactive, vat, naphtha, sulfur and disperse dye stuffs; Jig dyeing for small dye lots of 100% cottons with direct stuffs; Beam Dyeing for small lots on poly/cotton blends; Jet Dying for 100% polyester and Wool blend products.
“We will be moving forward in maintaining and growing RM COCO’s product offerings,” the Carrs stated in a joint announcement.
“We are excited about the opportunities to grow our business together going forward,” the brothers said.
