Tessutica Division of Beaulieu Group Buys Ragolle NV Brand

November 6, 2013

KRUISHOUTEM, BE--Certain intellectual assets of Ragolle NV, Waregem based makers of residential flat weave fabrics have been acquired by Beaulieu International Group NV in Kruishoutem.

The contract, curtaining and velvet lines produced by Ragolle NV will not be acquired by Beaulieu under this arrangement. These lines will continue to be produced by Ragolle Deco NV, a new legal name adopted by Ragolle.

Production of all Ragolle lines will continue in the Ragolle facility in Waregem including the Regolle lines purchased by Beaulieu International Group. Aside from the brand Ragolle NV acquired by Tessutica NV the new division of Beaulieu International Group, it is not clear whether any other assets are part of the sale. Luc Vandewiele, Managing Director of Tessutica could not be reached for comment. The arrangement gives Beaulieu International Group, a range of classical fabric designs to complement its existing contemporary lines.

Under this new arrangement, Ragolle and Beaulieu are now fabric brands marketed by Tessutica instead of corporate entities.  Veerle Vervaeke, formerly of Ragolle NV Fabrics, will now manage sales and design of the Ragolle brand. Luc Vandewiele is the Managing Director of Tessutica and he made the announcement. Other details are not known at this time but marketing and sales personnel will stay the same, it was learned.
