TSG Offers Balance Barrier with GreenShield

NORTH WALES, Pennsylvania – TSG Incorporated has added Balance Barrier with GreenShield to its offerings, which the company is calling "a new innovation to its fabric finishing line" according to Brian Rosenstein, TSG director of operations.
As part of the Defend® family of high-performance applications, "balance with Greenshield integrates environmentally friendly moisture barrier technology with multiple high performance properties into one treatment system," Rosenstein said. "The main component that sets this apart from the competition is that Balance Barrier with GreenShield is the highest rated environmentally friendly fabric performance treatment in the industry."
Also referred to as LC40, Balance Barrier with GreenShield is created with the only moisture barrier process positively assessed by MBDC, making it eligible for Silver Cradle to Cradle certification, Rosenstein stated.
"The Green Shield technology in Balance Barrier with Green Shield provides the greenest and safest finish for water and stain repellency on the market today, reducing the amount of chemistries that are persistent in the environment," he continued. "It contains up to eight times less fluorocarbon than the nearest competitor and has been uniquely granted the Scientific Certification Systems' (SCS) Low Fluorocarbon certification."
TSG Incorporated has been involved in textile processing for more than a century "dedicated to the enhancement of woven and nonwoven fabrics through specialty chemical applications and mechanical finishing techniques," Rosenstein said. TSG has five fabric finishing plants located in the northeastern and southeastern regions of the United States.
