TSG Consolidates Finishing
March 7, 2012
NORTH WALES, Pennsylvania-- TSG Finishing, LLC, is consolidating its commission finishing operations by the end of the summer by closing its Synfin plant, according to Jack Rosenstein, chief executive officer.
Corporate offices will continue in North Wales but the Synfin plant of 110,000 feet will be sold, he said.
“TSG will perform all commission finishing operations in its four plants located in North Carolina,” he said. “TSG will continue to serve all of its customers during and after the consolidation without interruption.” Rosenstein believes the consolidation will enhance TSG’s current commission finishing operations.
“The consolidation will coordinate efforts within our organization and ensure that we meet our customer demands at the highest level of efficiency and flexibility to which our customers have become accustomed over the years,” said Jeffrey Goldman, President and Chief Operating Officer. “This consolidation will also allow us to utilize our significant assets and technology,” over a broader customer base and serve a wider variety of industries more efficiently because our plants will be located in closer geographic proximity to one another”.
Since its founding in 1901, TSG has grown into one of the largest commission fabric finishers in the US. TSG Finishing, which has been continually operated by the same family, does business through four operating plants; Synthetics Finishing, Synfin Industries, Combeau Industries, and Longview Machinery.
