NEW YORK, NY— Susan North, EVP of design for F. Schumacher & Co. has been named managing director of new business initiatives for Newark, NJ based Thibaut Inc. as of January 16.

This is a new position at Thibaut. She was with Schumacher for 15 years and reported to Teri Eagle, president. Schumacher is looking for a replacement but Eagle was not available for comment.

In her new post, she will be responsible for the management of the Thibaut fine furniture division and the newly established Regal Wallcovering division which is focused on international sales according to Bob Senior, principal of Thibaut.

North replaces Jonathan French at Regal and relieves Bob and Stacey Senior of some responsibility as spearheads of the furniture division. French has left the company. He is the son of Anna French, which is also another brand previously acquired by Thibaut.
