New York — Stroheim & Romann, a supplier of high-end decorative fabrics, wallcoverings, trimmings, and decorative hardware to the trade, announced that it will launch the Chivasso Collection, a new brand of home furnishings for the U.S. market.
According to Julian Grauer, president of Stroheim & Romann, "We are delighted to bring Chivasso's exceptional range of high-end fabrics to the U.S. market. We believe that these beautifully styled European fabrics offer an array of timely fashion-forward looks that will be particularly well received by our customers. These unique fabrics make an excellent addition to the strong-selling Stroheim & Romann and JAB collections, which are extraordinary in their own distinctive way."
The first Chivasso collection debuted this summer. Among the offerings were a luxurious range of animal patterned and solid chenilles. The launch also included a line of faux furs. Acquired by JAB-Anstoetz in late 2000, Chivasso was founded approximately ten years ago in the Netherlands by Richard Schutte and Ellen Steentjes.
