Shapery Creates Second Indigo Boutique Property
January 10, 2005
San Diego, CA. - Shapery Enterprises is building a 42 story Indigo Tower to be built at 11th and A Street in Downtown San Diego. Indigo is the first boutique brand of Intercontinental which will open its first location in Atlanta later this year. The Shapery project is the second location for Indigo.
This project is chocked full of innovations including a light on the top of the tower, according to Shapery Enterprises owner Sandor Shapery. The tower light is really a clock that changes color by the particular hour of the night with light rings that delineate ten minute increments.
This project will also have the latest green building innovations, Shapery said.
Shapery is also the developer of The W Hotel on west B Street, between State and Columbia Streets, Downtown San Diego and a Staybridge Suites project that was originally the historic Riviera Hotel. The entire 180-suite property will be operated as a Staybridge Suites by Holiday Inn.
