Scoperta Will Move to Como in '08

October 5, 2007

BRUSSELS, Belgium – Acting on advice from many of his customers and friends, Bill Davis, principal of Trade Link Ltd., announced at a private dinner event during the Decosit show, that Scoperta will move to Como for 2008.

Scoperta, a trade fair for producers of interior textiles, held from May 6-9, was held in Milan last year. Because its dates coincide with the Proposte show in Cernobbio, customers will appreciate the location change and the ease with which they will be able to travel from show to show. Como is located 45km north of Milan and was once world-renowned for its silk manufacturers.

"Two years ago, we moved to Milan, believing that the other exhibition wouldn't remain there long," said Davis. "But it's been made clear to us that the show in Cernobbio will be there for a long time. So, we're moving the show into Como. We're building a purpose-built structure near to the motorway that will be a fully air-conditioned, sealed unit."

Davis also announced at the dinner event that Roberta Mazza was hired as a new contact and correspondent for Scoperta.
