Barcelona, Spain — Rudolf Louis Schweizer was elected for a two-year term as a vice president of Cotance (Confederation of Tanners and Dressers of the European Community) in June. Schweizer is the managing partner of Schweizer Group International and the tannery Lederfabrik Louis Schweizer KG in Murrhardt near Stuttgart in southern Germany.

Cotance develops policies meant to improve access to leather markets as well as to eliminate export restrictions on raw materials. F&FI
