Satin Textiles Opens Textile Gallery

January 17, 2003

Bangkok - Satin Textiles has opened Pasaya, a 150-square-meter gallery textile gallery, in an up-market shopping district of Bangkok.

The textile display has been treated as artifact rather than regular traditional treatment of rolling of fabrics, the company said.

According to Schle Wood, managing director of Satin Textiles, the gallery provides an atmosphere of serenity and harmony. ''The subtle focused lights decipher the underlying textile character in terms of true colors and texture,'' he said. ''Unlike the museums, the textile gallery has selective collections for reference of textile crafts from many origins one can buy, too.'' F&FI
