HAUPPAUGE, NY—Darci Sassen has been named Director of Contract Sales for Duralee Contract replacing Gary Rosenthal who has retired. She reports to Amy Silberman Benjamin, Vice President of Duralee Contract based in the New York office. Sassen is based in Atlanta and spends most of her time traveling with Duralee Contract sales representatives and also working with clients. Duralee owns a warehouse in Morganton, NC where it stocks fabrics and produces its furniture line. Recently, Duralee moved to new offices in Hauppauge, New York from Bay Shore, New York. She joined Duralee in May, 2014 as a consultant and concurrently held the position of Senior Vice President at The Morgan Collection. “When Andrew Morgan decided to close his business, I joined Duralee full time in January, 2015.” Prior to her move to Duralee, Sassen spent 18 years with Fabricut/S.Harris/Stroheim as Vice President, Director of Contract Sales covering Canada and Mexico.
