November 27, 2012

NEW YORK, NY — Richloom Inc. has taken a majority interest in a new company called PURETi,  which manufactures and markets  breakthrough UV-PCO products that provide sustainable solutions applied to surfaces like concrete and fabrics.

With headquarters in New York and manufacturing in Michigan, the patented PURETi UV-PCO technology has produced a family of products which are said to supply  tangible, sustainable solutions to grime and foul material buildup, poor air quality, and odor. PURETi surface treatments are applicable throughout all industries but Richloom expects to use the technology in the hospitality trade.

Surfaces treated with Pureti reportedly need to be cleaned half as often and cleaning is twice as easy when it’s done. Money Savings: Reduces cleaning maintenance costs by 50% and reduces the water, energy, chemicals and labor expended in cleaning.
Pureti is said to significantly  improve indoor and outdoor air quality by continually eliminating VOCs and harmful green house gases such as methane.
Pureti reportedly reduces levels of smog when applied to outdoor surfaces like cement and building facades. Proactively removes any organic malodors from the including: tobacco smoke, fire damage, and human & agricultural waste. Pureti is said to create a super-hydrophilic surface, allowing water to sheet away non-organic residue and is reportedly  Able to provide  long-term efficacy of up to three years in some instances.
Pureti qualifies  projects for LEED points under the U.S. Green Building Councils standards, according to Richloom.
