Richard Appointed President and CEO of IFG

Chris Richard has been appointed president and CEO of Interface Fabrics Group, a division of Interface, Inc. F&FI obtained a text version of a recorded message from Interface president and CEO Dan Hendrix that was sent to all Interface Fabrics Group employees. Richard replaces Brian DeMoura who left the company last week.
According to the text, Richard has 25 years of experience in the textile industry. He held several positions in Collins & Aikman's automotive fabrics division, including account executive and director of sales and marketing. He worked for five years with Guilford Mills as president of the North America automotive division and then as president of its worldwide automotive and technical textiles unit. Most recently, Richard served as senior vice president of automotive fabrics and Collins & Aikman.
