Proposte September Dates in Conflict
But Organizers Feel Timing is Still Good

MIAMI BEACH—F&FI has learned that Proposte has been scheduled for September 7-9, 2021.
As originally reported on December 18, Proposte picked September dates to coincide with Salon del Mobile in Milan on the dates of September 5-10, 2021.
Proposte organizers have confirmed the new dates In a February 1 letter to exhibitors.
The dates overlap with International Design Week, formerly known as the Milan Furniture Fair.
“The overlap with the International Design Week…will make it possible for visitors to attend both events just by taking a brief train ride,” says Massimo Mosiello, General Manager of Proposte.
Trade members are still questioning why Proposte organizers would pick dates that conflict with Salon del Mobile dates.
The new dates were made to better fit with Covid-19 vaccine requirements. There is no telling whether or not enough people will be inoculated by September to safely hold events even though Proposte organizers feel it will be safe.
Heimtextil 2021 was canceled recently due to poor market timing and will be held again January 11-14, 2022.
