WEST BABYLON, NY -- Paul Jay Harris founder of Crestmont Fabrics Ltd. In 1984 in Hauppauge, NY, passed away July 29, 2016 at the age of 73.
Services were held for all of his friends, family and business associates on August 3.
He was born July 23, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY.
Crestmont is a contract drapery resource to converters. The company will continue to operate under the leadership of his wife Judi, a designer and co-founder; his daughter Cristina and his son Michael.
“Paul did business with all the converters in the contract field and never went directly to hotels or projects,” according to Johnny Keeton, a longtime friend of Paul Harris. “He was never considered a competitor to the contract jobber who bought all of Crestmont’s solids in long color lines,”
“He was loved by everyone. He showed everyone respect… great guy; great family,” Keeton concluded. The Harris Family requests that all donations in Paul’s memory be sent to the American Diabetes Foundation.
